Liverpool area expert to teach Japanese cuisine

An upcoming course will take place soon in Sydney, designed to introduce budding cooks to creating cuisine from Japan.

Those with a desire to cook Japanese dishes around Liverpool and other Sydney suburbs will soon get a chance to learn new skills. An upcoming Japanese cooking class designed for beginners will be taking place at 80 Clarence Street this coming March.

From kitchens running cooking courses to colleges offering classes, those hosting educational opportunities often enlist expert printing services to create promotional Booklets and prospectuses outlining what’s involved to potential participants.

The informative and fun hand-on workshop is designed for novices to learn all the fundamentals of easy and healthy Japanese cooking. The class involves detailed demonstrations from acclaimed chef Yoshiko Takeuchi. With more than two decades’ worth of experience under his apron, he has frequented many of Sydney's leading kitchens, written two cookbooks and participated in well-known TV shows including “The Biggest Loser”.

The course will provide cooks with a grounding in basic Japanese seasonings and teach them how to balance a meal. It will also instruct them on the best way to make a vegetarian dashi stock, authentic rice, teriyaki, Miso soup and the traditional Japanese salad, goma ae. Basic knife skills will also be covered.

The beginner level Japanese cooking class will take place on Sunday, March 19 from 10 am onwards at 80 Clarence Street in Sydney.
