The year 2020 saw the development of the NYE: Light Up the Sky event, and it set to return this year to welcome in 2022.
Liverpool City Council created the innovative NYE: Light Up the Sky event, which was designed to bring hope to the community and to provide residents of Liverpool and other areas a way of enjoying a Covid-safe New Year’s Eve experience. With a raft of fireworks displays and several online streams, last year’s event was a huge success.
The countdown to 2022 will occur regardless of the current public orders in place, and will follow a similar format to last year. The event will enable residents to view the fireworks from their homes and driveways, along with a variety of live-streamed content via the council’s social media channels.
The businesses of Liverpool are also invited to take part in this year’s festivities. The council is calling for sponsorships from local businesses, along with their involvement and support. All companies wishing to sponsor the event are invited to contact the council directly. Printing companies can provide banner printing for events like this.
The NYE: Light Up the Sky event will be a welcome reprieve from the challenging year that residents have experienced. The event aims to foster a positive outlook and create a community spirit, bringing Liverpool’s residents together.
