Fun day for all ages planned for Liverpool Spring Expo

The City of Liverpool, New South Wales is gearing up for the annual Spring Expo.

According to organisers, the event is held to celebrate the return of warmer months and encourage families, friends and their pets to be active and take part in the likes of gardening and cooking using fresh spring produce.

The spokesman said there will be fun for everyone, including some favourite Looney Tunes characters such as Tweety Bird, Daffy and Bugs Bunny showing children how to be active.

Visitors will also be able to attend workshops to learn how to make their own Kodedama hanging gardens.

Event Catalogues also include a host of live cooking demonstrations which will showcase the use of spring produce in easy-to-prepare recipes.

The spokesman said the Spring Expo, which is to be held at Carnes Hill’s Greenway Park on October 3, will also provide fun-packed events for children, including kids’ cooking classes and workshops that enable the young visitors to pot a plant.

There will also be native animals to meet while learning all about the country’s endangered species.

The spokesman said the Spring Expo event was also open to pets that will be in the running for some great prizes in competitions, including the Pets in Pictures photo contest.

All the fun of the fair, such as entertainment, free activities, food trucks, rides and a free outdoor cinema, will also be a feature on the day, which will run from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
