Liverpool residents will soon have the opportunity to experience the food, music, dance and customs of cultures from across the African continent.
Returning for its third year, the Motherland African Festival has previously brought in crowds of over 50,000 people through its performances, markets, food and atmosphere.
Past festivals have featured artisan markets selling goods from authentic craftspeople, street food stalls from cuisines across the continent, and live stage shows highlighting traditional and contemporary dance and music. The festival has also been known to host a variety of workshops on various cultural arts, including hair braiding, African drumming, painting and crafts.
The Motherland African Festival is part of Liverpool’s award winning “Experience the World” program, presenting regular festivals celebrating the art, food and culture of the Pacific Islands, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and more.
Events like this are a great opportunity for local businesses operating in a relatively small niche to gain exposure and sales beyond their usual customer base. Branding is often an important factor in retaining the awareness generated by these events, with prominently featured logo designs and recognisable Packaging made possible through Graphic Design Services. This can be a common investment for artisan and food stalls alike.
Returning to Liverpool’s Macquarie Mall for 3 nights of music, rhythm and culture, the Motherland African Festival will run from 5-10pm, starting Friday April 11.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Packaging
