Access 2016 and 2017 bin collection go calendars online

Marketing services involving the distribution of recycling Calendars in Liverpool, New South Wales have been altered to save money and provide an improved and easily accessible notification system to residents.

Liverpool City Council Mayor Wendy Waller said the bin Calendars will not be disposed of but rather, be moved online.

She said one of the City’s most important and complex functions was to coordinate waste recovery across the expansive area that includes 42 urban and rural suburbs.

The Mayor said there has always been an ongoing challenge for the waste team to investigate fresh ways to handle recycling and waste services in a more environmentally friendly and cost effective manner.

The transfer of recycling collection Calendars to an online format is just one of these initiatives, she said.

The online service will allow residents to easily check bin collection days as frequently as they wish and at a time that suits them.

The bin collection calendar will also be available for download.

Mayor Waller said that all residents need to do is to enter their address and the appropriate calendar will appear on the screen.

Those residents without internet access can also request for a bin calendar to be sent out to them, simply by calling the Council on 1300 362170.
