Zoom training sessions for free this January
Gladesville residents can take advantage of a series of free Zoom training sessions to be held in West Ryde this January.
Due to the pandemic, several face-to-face events have moved online, where the Zoom software is often used to hold workshops and training. The upcoming training workshops are intended to teach participants how to utilise Zoom for video conferencing, specifically for gaining access to community events.
The free workshops are being offered by CASS, which is a non-for-profit organisation that was established in 2002. It regularly provides services of a social and welfare nature to individuals from multicultural backgrounds. Such community oriented events can be promoted throughout the local area via flyer printing.
All of the workshops will take place face-to-face in small groups. They will be run in three languages – English, Korean and Chinese. Though the sessions will run over two hours, participants are only required to attend for one hour.
The Zoom training sessions will be held every Monday and Thursday in January starting on the 4th. They will run from 10am to 11am, followed by 11am to 12pm. Even though the sessions are free, registration is required. The location for the training is set to be the CASS Ryde Community Services Centre in Suite 6, which is located on 3-5 Anthony Road in West Ryde.
