Webinar for managing wealth in your 20s
Those aged in their 20s can attend a webinar hosted by Gladesville’s local city council, City of Ryde, to learn about strategies for money management this October.
The digital event is aimed at those in their 20s, because it is the optimal time when young people can set the foundations of a successful financial future. Glen James from ‘My Millennial Money’ will be hosting the webinar, where he will provide techniques and tips to deal with financial goals such as ridding oneself of financial debt or saving enough for a first home deposit as well as doing some future planning. Local council events are typically advertised in community locations such as libraries, markets, fitness centres, and community halls via flyer printing.
The webinar is hosted by Future Change Makers Ryde, an initiative established by the City of Ryde, to connect young Ryde residents. The main objective of the program is to prepare these young individuals for entrepreneurship and social enterprise by giving them learning, practical, and networking opportunities. It does this by connecting these young individuals to industry professionals, as well as possible employers, holding workshops and events to assist participants in the development of various skills on a diverse range of topics, and help in building a community of young entrepreneurs, amongst other activities.
‘Managing Money in Your 20s’ will be held on Monday 19th October from 7pm to 8.30pm. Though it is a free event, registrations via the Eventbrite website are essential.
