Street party to be held in Gladesville

This March, Gladesville will be hosting the Coulter Street Party.

In 2018, the City of Ryde looked to upgrade Coulter Street, which is sandwiched between Trim Place and Linsley Street. The changes involved constructing a distinctive zone for pedestrians and vehicles using materials that followed sustainable design and planning. The City of Ryde commissioned an artist to create art for the neighbourhood as part of the upgrade. The Coulter Street upgrade and public art project was completed in August 2019.

Now that Coulter Street has undergone changes, the City of Ryde wants to bring business to the live music venues, bars, restaurants, and other shops in Gladesville. One way to advertise events such as this is via flyer printing, as these can easily dropped into residential Boxes.

The Coulter Street Party will take place on the street itself as well as on Trim Place and in some parts of the Gladesville Public School area. All market stalls will be located on the school groups. Visitors to the event can expect live music, a pop-up bar, food stalls and trucks, market vendors, and entertainment for children. Shopping enthusiasts can expect to find locally made and unique homemade products.

The Coulter Street Party will be held on Friday 6th March from 5pm-10pm. Entertainment for children will run until 8pm. Due to it being a street party, expect Coulter Street and surrounding streets to be blocked for pedestrian traffic.
