Lovers of contemporary pop music in the Gladesville area may be keen to go along to the Gladesville RSL & Community Club in September to hear Monico peform.
No stranger to performing, Monico (Isacc Atienzo) began singing on the streets of Sydney at the tender age of 15. With a feel of artists such as Ed Sheeran, the accomplished musician Monico writes his own material and also plays cover versions of popular songs such as “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi, “Dancing Queen” by Abba and “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, which has broad appeal for a mixed-age audience. Promoters of events at an established venue often make use of banner printing in order to advertise artists locally.
Formed in 1938, Gladesville RSL & Community Club is a membership based, not-for-profit venue, which provides community services and facilities and supports sporting activities and veterans’ welfare within the community. It is open every day of the year, barring Christmas Day, and underwent a major renovation in 2020, including ground floor and façade changes.
Monico is appearing at the Gladesville RSL & Community Club, 4-6 Linsley Street, Gladesville, NSW 2111 on 10th September at 8pm. The event is free for members and their guests and is part of an ongoing series by Monico. Free parking is available and free WiFi is provided throughout the club.
