Residents of Gladesville and others living in the City of Ryde will have the opportunity to visit the Ryde Wharf Market next month.
The Ryde Wharf Market is an environmentally conscious Waste Wise event, which was launched on November 8 to bring a range of food, fresh produce, arts, crafts, and other local goods to the local people. This was in response to a demand from the community to provide more regular markets.
The market will feature around 70 vendors, thereby giving market attendees an opportunity to buy gifts, grab some food or just engage in some window shopping. The market’s waterfront location means that marketgoers can enjoy the beautiful view of the Parramatta River hand in hand with the market’s offerings.
To ensure safety for all, COVID-safe plans will be in place. These will include ensuring there is enough space between market stalls, additional cleaning carried out on the site and hand sanitiser being available for all to use.
Stallholders can use business card printing to assist market attendees in remembering their stall and products well after the event.
The next market will take place on Sunday, December 13 from 8am to 2pm at the Ryde Wharf Reserve, which is located adjacent to Anderson Park. It is close to the Meadowbank city centre and public transport such as Meadowbank Ferry Wharf, Meadowbank Train Station and Ryde Riverwalk.
