Finding the groove near Gladesville

People may be looking to shake off the Christmas excesses, and people living in and around Gladesville can do just that if they go along to Disco Revolution Live at the North Ryde RSL in February.

Disco music appears to be having a bit of a renaissance, or maybe it has never really gone away for die-hard fans around the world. This live disco event will consist of a high-energy disco band, fronted by two singers. With sparkle, glam and glitter, the Disco Revolution band will be looking to make the evening a memorable one.

Attendees will be strutting their stuff to the likes of Bad Girls by Donna Summer, Saturday Night Fever by The Bee Gees and Y.M.C.A by The Village People. With a thirty-five-year pedigree in the entertainment industry, DJ Diggz will be providing the soundtrack to the event.

Those attending are encouraged to put on their best disco gear, with the aim to create a dance floor alive with flares, sequins, leg warmers and rara skirts. In keeping with the flamboyant theme of the evening, colourful poster printing can be utilised to advertise the event in the community.

North Ryde RSL will be the venue for the Disco Revolution Live with DJ Diggz on Saturday, 10 February at 7pm at North Ryde RSL, 27-41 Magdala Road, Sydney. Tickets cost $33.
