Dogs day out to be held later this month
A festival celebrating the local community and their love of dogs will be held later this month in the northern suburbs of Sydney.
The Street Paws Festival will be a day of enjoyment with lots of activities aimed at showcasing how much fun a dog can be.
There will plenty of entertainment on the day, with competitions and demonstrations taking place as well as educational talks and current advice on dog matters. Children will be able to join in the fun with their furry friends and prizes will be awarded for ‘Old Timer’ and ‘Flyball’ competition winners.
A Rescue Dog competition will also be run with judges awarding various prizes. Stories and photos of rescue dogs can be submitted for judging on the day, and the Rescue Allstar team will be performing for the public. Interested people will be able to meet the rescue team and discuss the options for adopting a dog.
The day is sponsored by PetStock, The Figtree Veterinary Clinic and Blooming Tails groomers. Sponsors may use banner printing to advertise their services events like this.
Entry to the festival is free and will be held at the North Ryde Common near Gladesville on Saturday 29th June. The festival will be starting at 11am and will run until 3pm. All dog lovers are welcome.
