Delightful duo to entertain Gladesville

Those local to Gladesville will have the chance to be joyfully entertained by the one-time busking duo Aubrey and Purton this month at Gladesville RSL, with their brand of vintage pop covers and original material.

The friends began singing together in 2008, when they were known as The Somethings. Now known by their surnames, Dennis Aubrey plays the guitar and ukulele, and Pete Purton also plays the ukulele, which he learnt while on honeymoon.

As well as Gladesville RSL, the twosome can also be seen regularly performing at Paddington, The Rocks and Eveleigh Markets, delighting audiences with home-spun tracks such as Baggage and Unlike a Rolling Stone. The clever harmonies and cheeky delivery make the men a favourite with local audiences, and they are therefore often hired to perform at parties and weddings.

An event such as this will often use the services of local Print shops to produce advertising materials like Brochures and Posters to display within public spaces to appeal to local people.

Audrey and Purton are set to perform on Saturday, 21st May at Gladesville RSL, located on 4-6 Linsley Street, NSW 2111, at 8 pm. The club opens at 10 am daily and offers free membership, which also entitles the holder to discounts on food and drink and access to all facilities, including dance and karate.
