Degustation night to take place near Gladesville

Wine buffs and foodies in the Gladesville area might be intrigued by the Hutton Vale Farm Wine Degustation Night that is taking place in September.

Hutton Vale Farm was established in 1843 by Hohn Howard Angas, who arrived from England in order to oversee the agricultural property belonging to his family. The family remain in situ on the farm, and seventh-generationers, siblings Stuart and Caitlin, are tasked with leading the farm into the future.

As well as wines, the farm has grazing for sheep to produce lamb and woollen products. Small batches of chutney are also produced. Provenance, sustainability and ethical practices are the watchwords of the farm.

Stuart will be showcasing the six wines on the evening that will be paired with the five courses – the main course being accompanied by two wine choices. The menu for the evening is designed by Lozzi Bistro and is very much carefully designed to be complimentary to the wines on offer.

Menus on the evening are very much likely to be designed, printed and distributed by local Print shops.

The Winemakers Dinner – Hutton Vale Farm is taking place on Thursday 19th September, from 5.30pm until 11.30pm. The venue is Hunters Hill Club, 12-20 Madeline Street, Hunters Hill NSW 2110. Tickets cost $145, to include five courses with a showcasing of six wines.
