Graduates whose wild ceramics are on show include Lisa Wiley Strong, Anna Weaving, Lesley Murray, Cathy McMichael Angela Maryska, Dorine Louwerens, Caressa Gonsalves and Nicky Cooney.
Mayor of Northern Beaches Michael Regan said the gallery and Brookvale's TAFE Ceramics had been linked in the area of ceramic education for more than four decades.
He said that they had provided emerging and new ceramics artists with a platform that has become a tradition and continues to flourish, adding:
“Council, along with the graduates wish to acknowledge their teachers Janine Brody and Chris James, and all the staff at TAFE, for sharing their abundant knowledge and expertise and for really bringing out the best in their students.”
Brochure printing campaigns have often been rolled out to help advertise major exhibitions such as Resonance which provides a clear indication of clay's agility and how it can be turned into functional and sculptural objects.
According to Curator Katherine Roberts each of the works shows the exceptional talent of graduates including their individual conceptual, creative and technical skills. The exhibition, which opened on October 21, will run until December 4 and a special chance to meet artists involved will be held on November 6, 2022.
