Brookvale locals are invited to attend an art exhibition on show in the suburb in January.
Organised by Northern Beaches Council, the exhibition showcases a range of collages inspired by the vibrant, diverse birdlife of Australia.
The works have been created by students from the ArtAbility Program. This program has operated for over 30 years and provides creative art programs for the local disability community at the Forest Community Arts Centre.
Each student attends the program accompanied by their carers or support workers, who serve as their art assistants.
For the exhibition, the students have each used their own acrylic paintings to craft a collage. Their works display each student’s connection with birdlife and their own personal interpretations. The exhibition promises to be a colourful, communicative installation that celebrates nature and creative expression.
Organisers of arts and culture events are utilising flyer printing to advertise effectively. An engaging, informative flyer helps to attract interest and communicate important details, creating more community buzz and drawing greater attendance from the local community.
The Fantasy Birds exhibition is on display until Wednesday, January 28. The venue can be found at the Warringah Mall Library, Shop 650/145 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale. The exhibition space may occasionally be booked for other events, so it is suggested that attendees contact the library to confirm availability.
