New businesses coming to Alexandria

Alexandria will be home to part of a major Australian company and a new restaurant chain in the coming month.

Appliance Retailer reported that Dyson is set to move its sales, administration, marketing and management from its current headquarters in the Sutherland Shire, where it has been based for many years.

The company is said to be moving to a new office near O’Riordan Street, which is close to several Dyson stockists, because it has outgrown its current premises.

Foodies will also be pleased to hear that popular Sydney chef Faysal El-Abd is planning to open a new branch of his Lebanese restaurants in Alexandria.

El-Abd owns five Al Aseel branches across the city, and his original restaurant in Greenacres was recently named best Lebanese restaurant in western Sydney, as well as being named in Sydney’s I Love Food awards last year.

The new outlet, which will offer indoor and outdoor dining options, will open near another popular Alexandria food venue, The Grounds in Huntley Street.

Both businesses will need to ensure they make new orders for services such as stationery printing, to ensure the letterheads reflect the new details. The owners of Al Aseel might also like to consider flyer printing to advertise their new restaurant to residents.

The new Al Aseel restaurant is due to open in April.
