Information released for eco festival in Banksmeadow area

Locals in Banksmeadow are preparing for a beloved annual festival to return to the area in September.

Now in its 20th year, the Eco Living Festival is the longest-running sustainability event in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. It is the culmination of a month of events focused on sustainable living in the area.

This event will be filled with practical tips and solutions to help people live more eco-friendly.

Attendees can browse over 100 eco stalls and displays. They can also participate in hands-on, interactive workshops and attend encouraging talks focused on living sustainably and reducing the environmental footprint.

Live music and performances will offer entertainment throughout the day, as festival-goers browse the product stalls offering gourmet food, vintage finds and the newest innovations in eco-friendly living.

There will be a volunteer’s village, a bike valet available and an EV (electric vehicle) display, and attendees can also participate in bike-powered smoothie making.

Exhibitors at community festivals like this one can use promotional items to engage with attendees and visitors. Promotional Pens are practical giveaways that keep a business’ name and logo memorable.

The Eco Living Festival will be held on Sunday, 14 September. The venue is Broadarrow Reserve, 310 Fitzgerald Avenue, Maroubra. The event starts at 10:00 AM. It will finish at 4:00 PM. The event is free to attend, and more details can be found on the festival's official website.
