Residents of Alexandria can step up and ring the changes in a Christmas wreath workshop with a difference, taking place in November this year.
Wreaths are synonymous with Christmas, and are often proudly displayed on front doors to cheer the neighbourhood at this special time of year. They, do, however, have a limited lifespan.
This year, there is a workshop running where participants can create a Christmas wreath with preserved flowers, which will last through to Christmas and beyond. The longevity of these wreaths is typically between one and three years, so they are guaranteed to brighten your home for many months to come.
At the workshop run by Flower Lane and Co, attendees can choose from a range of dried flower colours and materials such as pinecones, cinnamon sticks and other decorative items. Help and advice is on hand, but no previous experience is required.
Photographs may be taken of the finished wreaths, so that Print shops can utilise the images in future promotions.
The Everlasting Preserved Flower Christmas Wreath workshop takes place on Saturday 25th November, from 11am, Saturday 2nd December from 3pm and Saturday 9th December from 11am. The workshop lasts two hours.
