Banksmeadow locals are preparing for an upcoming day retreat coming to the suburb in January.
Hosted by AcuSonic, this event will combine somatic therapies, soul-focused journeys and ancient practices in an immersive experience and holistic reset.
Attendees will be treated to an opening cacao ceremony and shamanic journey, before being led through acupressure and qigong workshops, a breathwork session and a past life regression group session.
The day will conclude with a spiritual song circle and a dance journey, followed by a sound healing experience and closing ceremony.
The retreat will be facilitated by four wellness experts specialising in a range of therapies. It is designed for people looking for renewal, reset and reconnection.
Attendees are asked to dress comfortably and to bring a mat or cushion, a water bottle and a journal and pen. They may also bring crystals, talismans, musical instruments or spiritual songs.

The Alchemy Day Retreat will be held on Sunday, January 11. The venue will be Awake Water, 2/8 Julian Cl, Banksmeadow. The retreat will begin at 10:10 AM and conclude at 5:55 PM. All attendees will receive a vegan lunch. Tickets are $222 and can be purchased through Humanitix.
