Cricket rivalry to be decided in Sydney

There is still time for sports fans from Alexandria to pick up tickets for the Sydney one day international cricket match this weekend.

The match will be played between Australia and South Africa as part of the current tour by the South Africans in the country.

So far, the two teams have been evenly matched, with the Australians narrowly winning the Twenty20 series by two games to one and the one-day international series so far hanging in the balance.

The Sydney match is the last in the five-game series and could end up being the deciding fixture between the two sides. The Australian team begins a test series against India next month and will no doubt want to take success from this match into their next contest.

Tickets for the game are still available, including for the Aussie Army section, which is always filled with enthusiastic fans, as well as the family zone. In some areas, groups of supporters can take advantage of a special ‘four for the price of three’ ticket offer.

Keen fans could use banner printing to support their favourite players and, if they can come up with something inventive, might even find it featured on the television coverage.

The match will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground and starts at 2:20pm on Sunday, November 23. Tickets are available through the Cricket Australia website.
