Alexandria-based businesses now have the chance to enter themselves in a prestigious business awards event.
This year, the New South Wales Business Chamber Awards will have a Sydney City region for the first time. The show will be sponsored by the City of Sydney, which previously ran its own award scheme but has now joined forces with the Chamber.
Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore said more than 2,000 businesses had opened in the inner Sydney area in the past five years, and it now deserved its own region in the awards.
There are 10 categories, including sustainability, exports, innovation, and small businesses. Individual titles are also up for grabs, including the business leader’s award and one to recognise a young entrepreneur.
Each successful business will also go forward to the state finals in November, where they will compete against winners from 12 other regions.
Victors might like to tell clients and business partners of their success by updating Stationery printing, to include the award on Letterheads or on Business Cards.
Nominations for the Sydney City Region close on Friday, June 12th, and the finalists will be announced in early July. The winners will be revealed at a gala dinner at Sydney Town Hall later in July.
