The opportunity to learn songwriting and production skills in a masterclass with an award-winning talent is going to be available to budding creatives in the Alexandria area.
The award-winning songwriter and producer Audius Mtawarira is coming to Alexandria to run a day-long masterclass for producers, songwriters and musicians so that they can learn techniques to supplement their creative journey. Those involved in the music and creative industries often use local Print shops to produce advertising material pertinent to any upcoming shows, exhibitions or classes.
Mtawarira, an ARIA and APRA award winner, has worked with artists such as Rahsaan Patterson, Delta Goodrem and Jessica Mauboy. At the exclusive masterclass, attendees will learn about the art of songwriting, including collaboration and music production techniques. The session is rounded off with valuable insights into the business side of the music industry, along with a dedicated Q and A session.
Participants will also have the opportunity to submit a song prior to the masterclass in order to have personalised feedback, should they so wish.
The Songwriting and Production Masterclass with Audius Mtawarira takes place on Thursday, August 24 from 9am until 5pm. The venue is Studios 301, 3B Ellis Avenue, Alexandria, New South Wales.
