What's Happening in Seattle, WA…

Washington wine country serves Christmas cheer

Glasses of Christmas cheer will be served up in abundance in Washington's wine regions this December, including a three-day wine festival in Woodinville.

St. Nick's Holiday Wine Weekend is a tasting festival where dozens of wineries and breweries gather to help visitors sip and celebrate the holiday season.

Visitors can get transported from winery to winery on the Cellar Hopper shuttle. This year, ticket holders get a free Cellar Hopper Pass, which allows visitors to quickly jump on and off the shuttle as many times as they want. The feature is new this year. Wine tasters receive a map with the locations of all the wineries and the shuttle times.

Tickets are $60, and are available on line on the Woodinville Wine Country website. Tickets are valid for all three days of the festival, and also includes a wine glass and shuttle pass. Wineries will have at least two wines to try, and maybe as many as four.

Wine festivals such as these can benefit from printing services for maps, and the different wineries can display professional, branded menus to help visitors choose their wines and learn about the winery.

St. Nick's Holiday Wine Weekend takes place Friday December 6 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday December 7 from noon to 5:00 pm, and Sunday December 8 from noon to 5:00 pm at the Woodinville Wine Country Visitor Center at 14700 148th Avenue NE, Woodinville, just northeast of Seattle.
