Upcoming Seattle festival to showcase the future of design
The 4th annual Seattle Design Festival is coming to the city for two weeks this September. It is presented by Design and Public and AIA Seattle.
The theme of this year's event is ‘Design in Motion’. Events take place all over the city and include workshops, talks, art exhibitions, films, children's activities, and public celebrations.
The festival will kick off on opening night with a reception. Guests will be treated to live music, appetizers and drinks. A limited number of tickets are available for a suggested donation of $20.
Other happenings will be Showcase 14, which is a pop up shop and art gallery, as well as the #SDF Rumble, in which the public witnesses nine art installations in progress, hands-on arts and crafts for children, and a block party. The party itself will feature lots of activities suitable for the entire family, including a design competition, workshops, and relief printing activities.
In order to get more people to visit this Seattle event, organizers may invest in flyer printing. Flyers can then be distributed throughout the city for very little extra cost.
