Seattle session to introduce exotic houseplants
A Seattle online workshop will introduce some unusual flora that can be grown in the average home in the area, encouraging people to look beyond the normal popular varieties.
The Strange and Unusual Houseplants session will explore a selection of exotic plants that have adapted in a variety of days to survive in the wild. These include everything from orchids and other epiphytic plants (meaning those able to survive without soil) to species that are well camouflaged or even carnivorous. Instructor Tassy de Give will be sharing her expertise, and will show living examples of the varieties discussed.
The registration fee for the class is $15, and the event is suitable for kids. The attendees will also learn how to care for these plants, and the session will be recorded so that the registrants can refer back to it for two weeks after it has drawn to a close.
It was noted that this class is scheduled to take place online using the Zoom platform. A flyer printing company will be able to provide effective real-world marketing materials that may be suitable for promoting a virtual function of this kind.
This introduction to the wild side of houseplants will be taking place on December 8. It will run from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and the registration process may be completed online.
