Seattle plans houseplant pop-up

A horticultural event that is highly anticipated will soon be held in Seattle, and it will help local gardeners to fill their indoor pots without breaking the bank.

Many home gardeners really enjoy finding new plants to add to their indoor garden, and the Mother's Day Weekend Plant Sale that will be hosted at Volunteer Park Conservatory will give them a chance to do so. The function will also offer an opportunity for them to gather information and tips, and there are two days on the agenda.

Species on offer in the pop-up activity will range from cacti and succulents to philodendrons, violets and other houseplants. The Palm House Gift Shop will have items for sale as well, and volunteers, members of the venue’s Board of Directors, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and provide details about the Friends of the Conservancy initiative.

To thank Friends of the Conservancy for their volunteer service and support, they will be granted early access to the market. Everyone is asked to bring a box or tote to carry home their treasures. A brochure printing company can prepare materials to hand out during such an event, giving the attendees more details about the cause they are supporting.

This chance for indoor gardeners to add some skills to their toolbox while snagging new plants will be popping up on the May 13 and 14 weekend. The conservatory is located at 1400 East Galer Street.
