Seattle event to help public become water wise
Being smart with water is about to get a lot easier for Seattle residents, thanks to an upcoming educational opportunity.
The city will hold a RainWise Garden celebration, and it will combine learning with chance to meet local contractors who can lend a hand. It may be of interest to anyone who enjoys gardening or cares about conservation, and a variety of options will be presented to the crowd.
During the activity, attendees will learn about the choices available to them when it comes to dealing with rainwater and storm runoff. An assortment of catchment systems will be discussed, and everyone will have an opportunity to discover sources of funding that may aid them in getting started. Everyone can meet the contractors in person, and they will be happy to answer any questions from the participants. In addition to all of this, the function will explore RainWise rebates that may be on offer.
Leaflets and other learning materials are often handed out after a presentation. A brochure printing company can supply such items, along with small promotional products, to give to the attendees.
This introduction to the benefits that go hand in hand with being water-wise is scheduled for Saturday, October 8. It will be taking place at 1919 East Prospect Street in Seattle.
