Seattle enjoys annual festival
The Seattle Boeing Seafair Air Show will once again take the skies this year around Lake Washington as part of the Seafair Weekend Festival, which has been a yearly tradition since 1950.
The air show will feature multiple performances on all three days of the weekend festival, giving attendees and locals plenty of opportunities. There will also be practices on Thursday. Performances will feature different groups, including from the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Demonstrations will include rolls, dives, flips, and more for the entertainment of the crowd.
Seafair Weekend holds multiple other activities and shows, including wakeboarding, stunt bikes, hydroplaning, and a kids zone. The schedule changes daily, and the festival is open from 9 am to 5 pm all three days.
Seafair Weekend Festival will be held at Genesee Park, which has on-site parking available. Attendees are advised to use public transit when possible, or to pre-purchase their parking tickets. Tickets are currently available for various events as well as general admission. General admission Friday is free, while Saturday and Sunday are $30 daily. There is also grandstand seating and Pit Passes.
