Seattle conference set to swarm with bee enthusiasts

Beekeepers will soon be arriving in Seattle from all across the state for an activity that will help them learn and connect with other apiarists.

The 2024 Washington State Beekeepers Association (WASBA) will be held in early October, and the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle North Lynnwood will be the venue for the three days of learning. It is open to professionals and hobbyists alike, and eight speakers will be taking to the podium.

Those who register for the symposium will be able to sit in on the presentations, and as it is estimated that there will be several hundred delegates in attendance, it will offer lots of networking. Lunch and refreshments breaks will be catered, and raffles, a dessert auction, awards band and a live auction will take place. The proceeds from the function will help support honeybee education and research in the state.

A conference often offers the advantage of providing a lot of learning in a small amount of time, and they may attract a large crowd. Packages of information that include promotional pens and other premiums can be prepared for an event by a local print shop.

The annual WASBA conference will be welcoming registrants starting on October 4th and it will run until October 6th. Its web listing offers the opportunity to register and find out more about the activity and also its sponsorship program.
