Seattle celebrates annual Urban Craft Uprising
Everyone can celebrate handmade wares at the Urban Craft Uprising in Seattle, which is a free show featuring over 150 different vendors.
At the Urban Craft Uprising, attendees can find unique items ranging from house wares and art, to clothing and jewelry. There are items for every age and gender between all the vendors, who have been selected to ensure variety and quality.
Many of the vendors also hold demonstrations. There are hourly book signings, demonstrations of cooking and crafts, and other activities. There are generally giveaways in the mornings, so opening is often busy.
This is a free event to attend. However, Preview Night is a ticketed occasion. Tickets are $10 each for Preview Night, and all three days of this event will be held in the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on Mercer Street. There are three parking structures around the Seattle Center, all of which are paid parking. Parking fees go towards maintaining the Seattle Center and continuing the free programming.
Events like this often have business cards on hand. Vendors usually have cards at these kinds of events to help them advertise, and potentially gain business online, as well as in person.
The Urban Craft Uprising is currently scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, with Preview Night on Friday, November 30. Preview Night will be open from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, while the regular exhibition will go from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
