Seattle area event planned for young and young at heart
Both the young and the young at heart can be really fascinated by big rigs, and a selection of these vehicles will be parked at SeaTac’s Valley Ridge Park for a special occasion.
This Seattle area Touch a Truck event will see a variety of trucks, first responder vehicles, and other equipment on display at the park, and personnel will be on hand to answer questions and ensure the activity goes smoothly. There is no admission fee being charged, and all ages are welcome.
While the kids, and any curious adults, explore the vehicles, they can honk the horns, learn how they operate, and discover what jobs they are designed to do. Everyone can take photos of the fun, and to help make the activity accessible to as many as possible, a special “quiet hour” has been designated so that those who are non-neurotypical or otherwise sensitive to noise and crowds can participate.
Community events often benefit from the service of local banner printing companies, as they will be able to supply a variety of signage, banners, and other materials. There will be a large selection to choose from, and its staff can offer helpful tips and advice.
This chance for kids to explore some big rigs will be on offer on September 10. Valley Ridge Park can be found at 4644 South 188th Street in SeaTac.
