Online Seattle session to help keep fall gardens beautiful
A task often presented to landscape designers is to come up with a planting plan that offers four seasons of interest, and a Seattle workshop will make it easier for them to get started.
An online class that has been developed by Seattle’s University of Washington’s Botanic Gardens will explore the options that are available when it comes to gardening with the seasons, and both newbies and seasoned professionals alike may find it helpful. It will include tips for putting the garden to bed for the winter.
The session will take pace using the Zoom platform. The topics on the agenda for the evening will offer ways of building seasonal interest in autumn plantings, and both floral and foliage displays will be considered. Lawn care and general plant maintenance are on the syllabus, and the function will be geared specifically for Seattle area gardeners. The registration fee for the event is $28.
Hosting continuing education classes like this is one of the ways a university can serve the local community. A brochure printing company can provide the registrants with an assortment of additional learning materials.
The Gardening With the Seasons online workshop will provide fall planting tips on September 16. Its scheduled start time is 7:00 pm, and the presenter for the activity will be Christina Pfeiffer, who is a Horticultural Consultant, ISA certified arborist, and also an instructor.
