Holiday celebration doesnt forget the dogs
The 6th annual Pioneer Square Howlidays festival is taking place this December in Seattle, presented by the Downtown Seattle Association.
The festival will feature lots of fun activities for both people and their four-legged friends while celebrating the upcoming holiday season.
There will be plenty of dog treats to be had, cocoa for the humans, and free entertainment throughout the day. There will also be a pop-up dog park so the pooches will have the opportunity to run free for a short period of time.
At noon, there will be a pet costume contest and parade that encourages owners to dress up their canine companions in their holiday finest.
In addition, the Barker Market will be selling a wide variety of dog-related items such as stocking stuffers, toys, and clothing. No doubt, local animal rescue organizations will also be on hand to provide information about their programs and services.
This annual event is popular in Seattle, and dog owners from all over will be sure to make time for a short visit. To ensure that many people know about this sort of event, organizers usually invest in printed advertising products from local print companies.
Pioneer Square Howlidays will be held at Occidental Square on Saturday, December 9 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, call 206-623-0340.
