Festival to feature the best in Washington food
‘Taste Washington’ is taking place for four days this March in Seattle.
Several events are planned at various venues in the city. There will be parties, dinners, and educational seminars about wine and cider.
The first event is the 2nd annual Red and White Party at Aqua. Guests will sample more than 90 wines and enjoy appetizers prepared by Chef Wesley Hood.
Following this is the New Vintage party, at which attendees will enjoy wine, food, and dancing. It will be held at the Four Season's Hotel Seattle. On the same day, Taste Washington on the Farm will be hosting events at three separate farms, and transportation is provided from the Washington State Convention Center. Guests will tour the farm and be treated to food and wine samples.
Grand Tasting rounds of the event on the last two days of the festival at CenturyLink Field and Exhibition Center, and is set to feature samples from 225 Washington wineries and more than 70 of the Pacific Northwest's best restaurants. Those who purchase VIP tickets will be admitted one hour earlier and have access to a private lounge. There will also be exhibitor booths and a chefs’ demonstration stage.
Seattle print companies may be asked to provide printed materials to be handed out at seminars.
Taste Washington is taking place from March 26 to 29. To learn more about the events, visit the official event website.
