What's Happening in Seattle, WA…

Festival provides Seattle residents with chance to enjoy local artists

Seattle art lovers recently had a chance to enjoy browsing through three different arts festivals that took place during Bellevue Arts Weekend.

This collection of shows has become a community tradition and has been held ever since the Bellevue Square became open to the public back in 1947. Each year, tens of thousands of people from the area come out to enjoy strolling through the different displays that been set up by the artists themselves, as well as to enjoy the music and food made available. There were even special events for the kids.

The Bellevue Arts Museum welcomes people to its BAM ArtsFair marketplace, where they could see and purchase glass, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and other pieces that were created by more than 500 different artists.

There was also the 6th Street Fair and Bellevue Festival of the Arts, both of which offered a variety of artistic pieces for sale. A banner printing firm can help to make this type of event even more of a success. It can produce banners, signs, promotional flyers, and can even create price tags and brochures for the artists present.

Those who drove their vehicle to the event were able to obtain free parking at the Bellevue Collection, and there was valet parking for those who preferred it. It was also accessible through public transportation, which made it easy for everyone to take part.
