What's Happening in Seattle, WA…

Annual street festival to keep Seattle buzzing

The 46th annual University District Street Fair is taking place in Seattle for two days this May. This is one of the longest running events of its type in the United States.

A wide variety of vendors will be on hand to sell items such as handmade clothing, arts and crafts, and gourmet food products. Nonprofit and community organizations will also be there to provide information about their programs and services. There will be three stages presenting local and regional artists such as Rachel Wong, Kirby Krackle, Grace Love, and Manigua. Buskers and henna tattoo artists will also keep people entertained.

The YMCA Kids' Area will have lots of activities for children, such as face painting, as well as performances by children's entertainers. In several areas, people will be able to relax and enjoy some downtime, such as the beer garden, the food truck court, and a regular food court.

This event creates an opportunity for local small businesses and artists to showcase their products to the general public. Many of these Seattle business leaders may choose to invest in banner printing services to get more visitors to their booths.

The University District Street Fair will be held in Seattle from May 16 to 17. Admission is free of charge. To find out the latest information about this upcoming event, call 206-547-4417.
