La Prensa Tacos & Tapas will host a guided tequila and mezcal cocktail-making class this July.
The class will provide guests with an immersive look into the world of agave-based spirits. Led by an expert mixologist, the session will cover the history, flavor profiles, and distillation methods behind both mezcal and tequila.
Participants will learn to craft three different cocktails that display the smoky, citrus-forward, and earthy tones of these traditional Mexican spirits. The class will include instruction on both classic recipes, such as the margarita, and innovative takes on contemporary cocktails. Each attendee will also receive two gourmet tacos as part of the tasting experience.
Designed for both cocktail enthusiasts and those curious about agave spirits, the two-hour workshop aims to educate and engage through hands-on preparation and tasting. The event highlights La Prensa’s culinary approach, which fuses traditional techniques with globally inspired ingredients. The venue, known for its gourmet tacos and craft cocktail offerings, emphasizes freshness and quality in every dish and drink served.
General admission is priced at $75 plus a service fee of $6.88. Refunds are available up to one week before the event
