Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles is hosting its 13th Annual Oktoberfest Event and Car Show this October.
It will offer a day of automotive displays and family-friendly entertainment. The event invites Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi owners to showcase their vehicles, compete for awards, and participate in a festival atmosphere. Categories include Best in Show, Air-Cooled, Water-Cooled, Audi, Porsche, and Kids’ Choice.
The festival features local food trucks, including Dave’s Dogs and Little Lady Grill & Sandwiches, along with a Hershey’s Ice Cream Truck. Attendees can enjoy a bounce house, face painting, a photo booth provided by Marigold Bus, dog adoptions from the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation, soccer demonstrations, cornhole, raffle prizes, and merchandise sales. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and beverages to create a relaxed environment.
Proceeds support the Ryan Bartel Foundation, a nonprofit offering resilience-focused programs for families and teens to develop strategies to navigate challenges and prevent youth suicide. Car show registration is free if pre-registration is completed by next Tuesday, September 30, or is available on site for a $10 donation. All registration fees support the foundation’s programs. Contestants will receive preferred parking, while festivalgoers have access to public lots providing shuttle service to the venue.
Organizers suggest using flyer printing to promote the event and expand participation within the community.
The Oktoberfest and Car Show will take place on Sunday, October 5 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with gates opening for contestants at 11:00 am and site registration closing at 11:55 am. Award announcements and raffle drawings will take place at 2:30 pm. The festival is at Lindsay Volkswagen, 2245 Lindsay Cars Court, Sterling, Virginia.
