Runners and walkers will head to Claude Moore Park in Sterling for the 2026 Fall Harvest 5K next weekend.
This event is a timed trail race organized by Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS). The event is the fourth installment of the Run Your PRCS Parks series.
The course winds through wooded areas and seasonal trails within the park, giving both experienced runners and newer participants an opportunity to complete the 5K. Each in-person entrant will receive a finisher medal, cotton shirt, and chip timing.
Awards will recognize the top three women and men overall, along with first- and second-place finishers in age divisions ranging from 19 and younger to 70 and older. Race photos and live results will also be available after the event.
The standard 5K costs $35 before mandatory charges, or $38.96 including fees. A virtual option with a medal costs $20.82 including fees, while virtual participation without a medal or shirt is $12.28 including fees. Race-day registration will be available, although shirts are not guaranteed in this case. Packet pickup is offered on site, and participants are encouraged to arrive about an hour early.
Community races often use banner printing to display race-related information.
