A number of restaurants and food trucks will gather in Historic Downtown Wylie to participate in a festival this May.
Taste of Wylie 2026 is a community experience that invites people to check out local eateries while supporting local causes. There will be over 40 vendors for guests to browse throughout Olde City Park in Historic Downtown Wylie. Part of the money earned at the fest will go toward local food pantries like Hope for the Cities and the Amazing Grace Food Pantry. Businesses that want to become vendors for the tasting event can apply for free.
There are also multiple sponsorships at the event for companies that want to help local food pantries and showcase their brands at the festival. Sponsorships will start at $250 and include benefits like name representation on the event signage and inclusion on a post-event thank-you ad. The higher tiers range from $500 to $10,000 and will offer businesses perks such as having their logos on T-Shirts, verbal shoutouts at the event, and festival booth spaces.
The Taste of Wylie will be held on Monday, May 4th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets will cost $20 per adult and $15 for children and seniors. Kids who are under five can enter for free. People can also donate online if they wish to support the event’s cause without attending in person. Tasting fundraisers like this can be promoted to more people by using poster printing services to create advertisements.
