There are two related events taking place in Pflugerville next month that will highlight Public Safety Day.
The first event is the Pfamily Pfestival and Expo presented by the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce. It will feature over 80 vendors who will be participating in prize giveaways; vendors will be selling all sorts of items including arts and crafts. Information booths will also be set up by various local organizations.
There will be children's activities, live entertainment and food vendors. To highlight Public Safety Day, there will also be a fire safety house demonstration. The department will also be handing out information about National Night Out. To learn more, call 512-251-7799.
Taking place the same day is the official Pflugerville Police Department's Public Safety Day festival. It will feature a bike rodeo, target shooting with NERF and food trucks. There will also be several other demonstrations of safety. For the bike rodeo, participants are asked to bring a bicycle helmet as there will be limited supplies on hand.

The Pfamily festival will be held at 105 Swenson Farms on September 4 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free.
Public Safety Day will take place at The Pfield from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Admission is also free of charge.
