Similar to previous years, Pflugerville intends to celebrate the warmer weather with the help of live music. This annual concert series showcases a variety of local artists, and guests can enjoy a wide range of genres.
An upcoming event in May offers a live performance of Americana music by Jolie & The Jackalopes. This band was originally formed as a means to celebrate the eclectic artistic community associated with Austin, Texas throughout the 1970s. They have since become a staple throughout the region. Some of their hits include She's Too High, Southbound, Sad & Lonely, Little Chevrolet, Rubble Blues, Creature Undercover, and The Alchemist.
This event is open to all ages, although only guests over 21 are allowed to enter with alcoholic beverages. Guests are also encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and to dress appropriately. On-site refreshments will be provided by a food vendor, although these must be purchased separately.
Events associated with live music will often use proven marketing methods to ensure that the proper audience is targeted. Some common approaches include brochure printing, flyer distribution, and updates across local social media portals.
The upcoming Pflugerville Music in the Park festival is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 8th. Performances begin at 7 PM, and the concert will conclude at 9 PM. All music will be hosted by Pfluger Park located at 515 City Park Road. There is no admission charge.
