Tree lighting ceremony and Christmas parade return to Pflugerville

Pflugerville is preparing for its annual Pfestival of Lights & Christmas Parade to welcome the holiday season.

The evening will start with a traditional tree lighting ceremony, followed by a family-friendly parade with marching bands, decorated floats, community groups, and holiday characters.

Spectators along the sidewalks will have the chance to enjoy light displays, music, and complimentary hot cocoa as the streets glow with the holiday spirit. Several nonprofit organizations and local vendors at the event will also offer treats, holiday crafts, and family-friendly activities before and after the parade.

The Pfestival of Lights & Christmas Parade aims to create a conducive atmosphere that fosters community togetherness and provides a cheerful kickoff to the December holidays. To help promote events like this, organizers can use Print shops to create materials that highlight route details, parade times, and special performances.

All parade entries are encouraged to adopt a Christmas theme for this year’s celebration. Planners expect those involved in the parade to bring in creative float designs that are inspired by beloved holiday tales. As it is a free and open public event, officials encourage attendees to arrive early and claim good viewing spots along the street.

The Pfestival of Lights & Christmas Parade welcome families and neighbors on Sunday, December 7, 2025, taking place on East Main Street in downtown Pflugerville.
