Pflugerville home gardeners who would like to add to their plant collection and their knowledge base will be able to do both when they attend a local event.
The Travis County Master Gardeners association is made up of skilled home horticulturalists, and the Plant Swap and Clinic that it has organized in partnership with the Pflugerville Public Library is just one of the activities it has on the agenda. While the adults browse, the kids will be invited to spend some time learning about loofah sponges and may be surprised to learn they can be grown in the garden.
Anyone who would like to participate in the swap will be able to exchange their unneeded plant starts, seeds, pots and other items, and as there’s no charge to do so, it may be an event thrifty gardeners will want to add to their Calendars. A Plant Care Clinic will be held as well, and as it will be run by Master Gardener, those who take advantage of the opportunity will be learning from the experts.
A function like this often depends on word of mouth marketing, and a flyer printing company will be able to lend a hand. The publications it crafts may be sent through the mail, tucked into shopping bag or posted in prominent areas in the community.
This boon for thrifty gardeners will take place on the morning of September 25th. The Pflugerville Public Library will serve as the event for the activity.
