Whether they craft for fun or profit, Pflugerville creatives may really appreciate being part of an upcoming supply exchange helping makers stretch their budget.
The Pflugerville Public Library will be welcoming thrifty crafters who have materials they no longer need but that may still be useful to someone else. It can provide an opportunity to clean out their crafting closets and maybe even score some budget-friendly finds for themselves.
Those who would like to contribute items can drop them off at 1008 W Pfluger Street, and library staff will set up and mark stations for each type of supplies contributed. It is expected that sewing and other fiber arts, jewelry making, paper goods, and tools will all be in the mix, and the public can drop by to browse the various tables.
Those who plan on dropping items off are asked to make sure they are in good condition, and are requested to put any small items in Bags. Any leftovers will be donated or used for library programming. Those who enjoy being creative may really appreciate the chance to pick up some materials free of charge, and a flyer printing company can help spread the word.
The Pflugerville Public Library has set aside the evening of October 26 for its Craft Supply Swap. It will begin at 6:30 pm.
