Anyone looking for a way to beat the summer heat in Pflugerville can add themselves to the guestlist for a movie night with a difference.
The Dive into Summer Pfloating Movie Nights have been scheduled for Scott Mentzer Pool, and tickets for the show are $5 each. Trolls Band Together will be the feature film in early July, and children aged two and under may enter for free.
The movie will begin close to dusk, and when they enter, each audience member will receive a free bag of popcorn. To help them keep comfortable, everyone can bring along a flotation device such as a pool noodle or open bottom inflatable, and they may also want to bring a portable chair or blanket so they can relax on dry land. Outside food will not be permitted, but a concession stand will be on offer.
