Pflugerville firefighters will be teaching a group of local residents the basics of CPR in an environment that is both fun and supportive. It will take place in person, and everyone will receive proof that they have undertaken the training.
Along with teaching CPR methods for infants, children and adults, the session will include how to stop bleeding, address choking and how to utilize an automated external defibrillator. Leaning materials will be distributed, and the goal is for everyone to walk away feeling confident in their ability to act in an emergency. The workshop is slated for 203 East Pecan Street, and seats in the class are expected to be snapped up quickly.
