Pflugerville evening to include talents of area veterans

Once someone leaves the military, there is often a whole world of possibilities open to them, and a Pflugerville event will showcase these to the community.

A festive evening planned for Three Legged Goat will present several different businesses that are owned by veterans. There will be beer on tap, along with music and food, and tickets, which may be reserved now, are $20 each.

The guests at the function will be able to enjoy beer supplied by 5 X 5 Brewing, and Don Cours will keep the crowd entertained. Crayfish, which are colloquially known as “mud bugs,” will be served, and they will be spiced with Claymore seasoning. The guests can meet other vets and may even be inspired to start their own small business. The function has been organized by O.P. Veterans, which is a group that aids former military members in making the transition to “civvy street.”

Groups that host organized events often choose materials supplied by a banner printing company to help make them feel even more special. They will be able to offer items for single use, as well as ones that may be used over and over.

Three Legged Goat, which is located at 200 Pecan Street East, will be welcoming former military members for this evening of inspiration on April 9. It will kick off at 5:00 pm.
