An opportunity to become an everyday hero will soon see Pflugerville residents rolling up their sleeves, and the support of the public for this activity will be greatly appreciated.
The Pflugerville Public Library has partnered with We Are Blood to host a blood donation drive, and everyone who is interested is asked to book their timeslot now. The mobile collection clinic will be set up in the library's parking lot, and both the donors and staff will be following Covid-19 prevention protocols.
Anyone who has reserved a time is reminded to bring their photo ID and also to eat a full meal before they attend the clinic. The entire donation process takes about an hour, and after they have made the contribution, the donors will be able to go about the rest of their day as they normally would.
This type of event serves an important role in the overall health of a community. A poster printing company can design materials that help to generate public awareness and interest in the function, and hopefully, encourage them to get involved.
The Pflugerville Public Library Blood Drive will be up and running from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. The We Are Blood website includes a registration link, as well as more details and tips for those who plan on making a donation.
